Tailscale

Put every agent on your tailnet, so it can reach your servers by name.

  1. In Tailscale, open Settings → Keys and generate an auth key.
  2. Switch on Reusable and Ephemeral, so agents leave the tailnet when they sleep or get deleted.
  3. Paste the key under Integrations → Tailscale.

Agents join under their own name the next time they start or wake up. From then on, Claude can ssh into your servers and call internal services by their tailnet names. Your tailnet's access rules decide what agents can reach, the same as for the key's owner or tags. If you disconnect, new agents stop joining, but ones already on stay until they're deleted.
