Troubleshooting
The usual problems on a self-hosted Skyfleet and how to fix them.
Agents start but can't push, reply or show previews
Agents run on Boat and call your server back on the Public URL. If that's localhost or a private address,
they can't reach it. Use a real domain, or for a quick trial a tunnel:
cloudflared tunnel --url http://localhost:8787Then save the tunnel's https://….trycloudflare.com address as the Public URL in Admin. It changes every time the
tunnel restarts.
"Boat refused this API key"
The key is wrong, expired or from a different account. Make a fresh one at boat.dev → Settings → API keys and press Replace on Boat in Admin.
Nobody gets sign-in codes
Email isn't set up yet, so codes go to the server log. Read them with docker logs skyfleet | grep code, or set up
Email in Admin.
The setup link says it's wrong or used
The link works once, and only until the first account exists. Look for the newest one in docker logs skyfleet. If an
account already exists, sign in with it instead.
The install owner lost their password
Sign in with an email code if codes are on. Otherwise, another way in needs a database change: ask in the GitHub issues.
