skyfleetdocs

Install

Run Skyfleet on your own server with one Docker command, then finish setup in the browser.

Skyfleet runs as one Docker container with its database inside. Agents still run on Boat machines in the EU, so you need a Boat account and a server that Boat can reach.

What you need

  • A server with Docker and a domain pointing at it, like skyfleet.acme.com. Agents call this URL back to push code, reply in Linear and show previews, so it has to be reachable from the internet.
  • A Boat API key. Make one at boat.dev under Settings → API keys. Machine costs go to that Boat account.

Run it

docker run -d --name skyfleet --restart unless-stopped \
  -p 8787:8787 -v skyfleet-data:/data ghcr.io/abuaboud/box

Put your usual HTTPS proxy in front of port 8787 (see Configure for Caddy and nginx).

Finish setup

The first time it starts, Skyfleet prints a one-time link:

docker logs skyfleet | grep setup
# … isn't set up yet. Open http://localhost:8787/setup?token=…

Open it on your domain, like https://skyfleet.acme.com/setup?token=…, and make the owner account: your name, email, password and team name. You become the install owner, the only person who can open Admin.

Skyfleet then opens Admin. Every other page stays locked until two things are saved there:

  1. Public URL: it's filled in from your browser, so press Save.
  2. Boat: press Set up and paste your Boat API key. Skyfleet checks it with Boat before saving.

That's it. Inbox, Machines and the rest open, and you can start your first agent from New task.

Invite your team

Sign-ups are limited to your email's domain at first, so teammates at @acme.com can sign in with an email code once email is set up and land in your team. Anyone else joins with the invite link from People → Invite, where they make an account with a password.

Teammates who use the terminal connect the CLI to your server once:

npx -p @abuaboud/box skyfleet login --server https://skyfleet.acme.com
