Better Stack
Every new Better Stack incident or error gets an agent. Paste an API token and Skyfleet creates the webhook.
Go to Connections, press Add on Better Stack under Alerts and incidents, paste a Better Stack API token and press Connect. This adds the Incident response use case to your Dashboard. Make a team token under Settings → API tokens → Team-based tokens → your team → Incidents API token. Skyfleet creates an outgoing webhook named Skyfleet that fires on new incidents only, so acknowledgements, resolves and comments never start an agent. Deleting the source deletes the webhook too.
Skyfleet reads Better Stack's own incident body, so there's no template to write. Each incident is one issue in your Inbox, linked to the incident. Fix my newest issue starts an agent on your newest incident right away. Write your runbook in the instructions of Incident response: which servers to check, and to comment on the incident and resolve it once it recovers.
DigitalOcean alerts only go out by email or Slack. Send them to Better Stack's e-mail integration and they arrive here as Better Stack incidents.
Send Better Stack errors to agents
Better Stack's error tracking has its own webhook and no API to create it, so this one is a paste. Press Also send Better Stack Errors → once Better Stack is added, or Connect on Error tracking in the Error fixing use case, then Add, and copy the URL. In Better Stack, open Errors → Integrations → Outgoing webhooks → Error webhook → Add, paste the URL, turn on only New error and Reoccurred, and press Send a test webhook. Each error is one issue in your Inbox, linked to it, and starts Error fixing.
Give every agent the Better Stack tools
Press Let agents use Better Stack's tools too → once Better Stack is added, or Connect on Logs in a use case, then Continue to Better Stack, sign in and share it with your teammates. Agents can then read incidents, monitors and logs, comment on incidents, acknowledge and resolve them through your login, on top of whatever started them.
